The
Unicorn
The unicorn’s
a creature; In God’s Word, I read today. I
wonder what their purpose was, and why they
didn’t stay.
I’ll take a guess and from
my thoughts, its shape was very clear; Of
what their purpose really was, and why they
are not here.
Beautifully, its form was
made, that often took a stance; As if to
touch the heavens as it spoke to Him in
dance.
They must have been
enchanting; For none could quite
compare. Few believe they ever
lived, while others wouldn’t dare.
They were
given for a reason; A creation, out of
love. But leave it to mankind to
change its purpose from above.
They
had no magic powers to be worshiped and
adored. Just another of God’s
creatures that we thought was something
more.
Apparently they did
exist, though proof was never found. For
in His love–His greatest gift; They were not
earthly bound.
The horn that sat upon
their head to point the way so
clear, reminds us all that heaven is the
reason they’re not here.
