My Land Forevermore

There are angels for each purpose;
Some, with birds and faeries, fly.
As the unicorn by wings or horn
may pass the viewer’s eye.

There are worlds within our world, created;
I will one day, be.
Far more than human mind can know;
Immortal eyes can see.

The hardship and the pain I bear
is but a price I pay,
to be without it ‘evermore
beyond my final day.

My journey’s paved with obstacles;
Far more than I can stand.
Stumbling down this rocky path,
to reach that Promised Land.

And when I do, I’ll leave regrets
and suffering behind.
And anything that is unknown
among the faery-kind.

This place that I will go to
when God calls me Home one day,
will be the land of faeries
in my garden, where they play.

A unicorn will take me ‘cross
a meadow, flowered bright.
Or soar among the stars with wings
that glimmer in the night.

Nothing else would please me more,
than swimming down to be
in the crystal-coral gardens,
that illuminate the sea.

His promises that often test
my faith, I will receive;
To finally be without
those heartless souls that won’t believe.

My writings and my poetry,
I’ll gladly leave behind
just to dance with all the angels
and the other faery-kind.

If ever you hear laughter
coming from a shooting star,
it’s only me, as I begin
my journey, very far.

And if you call out to me;
Tho' your voice with strength, may lack;
Don’t even bother waiting,
cause I’m never coming back!
