Journey's End


I promised I would keep you and never let you go.

I promised I would be there and always see you through.

I told you I would dry your tears and take away the pain,

and I spoke the words that brought you home

when Father called your name.



Many more are waiting to reach this Journey's End,

and everything I've said to you,

are the words I'll say to them. . . .
