Jon passed away September 19th, between 10:30 and 11:00 pm. I took Jon from a lady who said she found him on the street. This is my plea on Jon's behalf to please not dispose of any precious animal to the streets. They are not always found and taken in to a good home. As in Jon's case, I came into his life too late. If every human suffered for only a little while what Jon suffered from starvations, and the effects of it, the laws for animals would change drastically and overnight.

If there is any consolation for me, it's in the fact that I know Jon is with Jesus and for the first time in his life he is well, full of joy and is surrounded by so many playmates. He so-deserves it.

Thank you for all your prayers and well thoughts of Jon and for us. It kept us going.
