I remember your
beauty and the way I felt when I walked with
you. I was born to you. . .grew with you. Then one
day left you.
I closed you in my heart and not
once thought of you. There, you slept for years. .
.and I had forgotten you.
Until one morning I
awoke to your distance, and somehow you knew. You
stirred in my soul and reached for my heart to call
me back. . .to call me home. And I
remembered.
You were created for me; Given to
me. . .and I always knew I belonged to you.
I
have traveled so far away, to be so alone; Please
guide me back home to your waters, aqua-blue; White
sands that I once knew.
And on that day when I
can see no more, keep me forever near you, and
again. . . . I will
remember.
