The sea is a beautiful place faced with danger,
beauty and quiet.
So quiet there is no name for its silence. So is the life
of those who live among me.
The Shallows offers its warmth and rest from the hurts of
others and the heartaches of life,
but only for a time because the tide never stops turning.
All life moves and flows and goes but not all
will return. It is there that we crumble
and hold the sharpness of pain until God releases us and
we live again. . .
while another life begins in the Shallows.
