Gold Dollar warned Margarita to stay away from her boyfriend, Billy Milgreen, or she would cut her heart out. Apparently, Margarita didn't take her seriously. Gold Dollar found Margarita sitting on Billy's lap. Gold Dollar got a small dagger and tried to do exactly what she said she would do to her. She heard that the Marshal was coming and ran out the backdoor of the Bird Cage, covered in blood. She disposed of the weapon behind the Theatre but no charges were brought against Gold Dollar because the murder weapon was never found. . . . until over a hundred years later. It is now on display in the Bird Cage Theatre.
